MY MAKEUP : Theatre Evening

For last few weeks I've been experimenting with different eye shading techniques. Every week I am choosing one technique and practising it every day. The reason why I did not make any pictures to share until now is because ... I've got my camera eaten by an alien (or you can put here any of your favourite do-not-have-homework school excuses).
This week I am doing an Open Eye Contour can make quite natural look when using brown shades and very bold party look if using colours. As I was attending theatre last night, I decided to go for an evening look and used purple - pink tones on eyes and light peachy-brown lip colour.
Here is what, how and why step by step !
1. Face is the most important part of any makeup ! I used transparent primer to smooth skin, BB cream to even the tone and concealer to hide dark circles under eyes.
2. Eyes are centre of attention this week. I started with eye shadow base which is such a great product (as wonderful as lip primers !). Open Eye Contour goes like this : apply light shadow on whole lid, put dark shadow on eye crease and blend a little upwards, then add medium shade above dark one, to get smooth transition upwards. On upper lid I used eye pencil with gel formula which is very soft and looks like an eyeliner but under bottom eyelashes I applied regular eye pencil. For brighter look, I put natural pencil on inner lash line which is not so bright as white one, but still freshens the sight.
Little extra tip : with light motion, I applied eye pencil on the crease and smudged it into the darker shade, so that my eyes got deeper look - this is what really makes the difference !
3. Cheeks do not get much attention now, so I just touched them with my absolute favourite matt bronzer.
4. Lips ought to be accented but not to bright. I was in a mood for something natural - browny so on a lip primer (I already mentioned that I am keen on primers !), I applied waterproof lip pencil and matte lipstick (named Euro Trash - is it funny or sad ?).
